If something happens, tell a staff member. 003. Respect the staff. 004. Common sense is your best friend. Posting and Activity 001. Be literate to the best of your abilities. That means try your best to use correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, though occasional mistakes are what make us human. 002. Don't post lyk diz. You can use textspeak in the c-box if that floats your boat but definitely not in posts. 003. The word count is three hundred (300). Please try to reach it. 004. Have as many threads as your heart wants. Just keep them active. 005. Keep active, and post regularly. Game posts, IM threads and whatnot are not substitutes for real posts. 006. Validate at least one email because every so often, we'll send a mass email to inform you about activity checks that occur spontaneously and exist to keep the site all fresh and organised. 007. Liquid time is allowed. 008. Proboards terms of services states that sites must be kept PG-13, which means no sexy time for you! (Take your sexy time over PM or email if you must.) 009. The boards are pretty general for the sake of reducing clutter, so please specify where you are in your posts (ie; at the park, cafeteria, etc.). 010. If you know you will be gone for a little while, then leave a little absent notice so everyone can have a little head's up. In Character Chat 001. The ICC is not a substitute for proper roleplaying. While you are free to use it as you wish, do not replace replies with constant use of the ICC. Characters 001. Your name should be edited to your character's First Middle Last, in the same capitalization as that example. 002. No god-modding, power-playing, or Mary-Sue's/Gary-Stu's. 003. You can play twenty characters and keep them active? Sure, but don't be an inactive character hog. If you're going to have a character, have at least one active thread. Of course, that doesn't mean that you should restrict yourself to one thread per character. You get a freebie with your first three characters, but afterwards, the staff will check to make sure you have active threads. 004. Diversity is the rule of life. We do not have fifty females per one male, nor fifty models to one fast food worker. Be realistic. 005. Try to keep the gender ratio even. Some people RP better with certain genders, yes, but don't only make ten females and vice versa. Graphics 001. Please have an avatar and/or a signature for your character. 002.The maximum size for an avatar is 150x200, and though it's supposed to automatically resize, sometimes the avatar comes out looking odd. The maximum width for a sig is 500, and height can be anything as long as it isn't outrageous. If the graphics stretch the board, you will be sent a notification or the staff will resize for you. 003. Templates are lovely, and you are perfectly welcome to use them, but please don't choose something neon and blinding that will make viewers flinch.
