Here's where you find short little tibits on each one. [style=font-family: arial narrow; font-size: 12px;border-left: 5px solid #8dcbdb;]High School Students Aeolus High School is the only public school in the town. People attend the grades nine to twelve there in various ages. It's a decent high school with pretty high testing school and graduating rate under its belt. They try to offer as many sports and extracurriculars as they can, and the school itself is rather large in order to fit all the students who go there to receive an education. High School Staff The staff here can teach multiple levels of expertise in their respective subjects and electives. It's their jobs to help manage the school, and some of teachers even go out of their ways to lead clubs or coach sports. Like any other school that exists, there will be the really laid back and awesome teachers who make learning fun (or who attempt to appear charismatic and end up teaching you nothing), and also the ones that make your life a living hell. Anyone with a job at the high school is considered a high school staff member. University Students There are high school graduates who attend Aeolus University, which is quite famous due to high rank among good colleges. It's not exactly an Ivy League, but it's far from being a community college. Though it is somewhat on the small end of the scale in regards to enrollment and acceptance, that doesn't stop making Aeolus into a college town. (Undergraduates only.) University Staff The management and professors here are undeniably talented at what they do. A majority of them have been doing their jobs for quite a while. Some of them have been living in the town all their lives, and others transferred into the university from other jobs. Not all the professors are drop-dead gorgeous, but there's always the lovely teacher's assistants. University staff includes teacher's assistants and anyone who helps run the university. Locals Graduate student? Private school kid? Drop-out? Finished college as an undergrad? Visited and fell in love with the town and ended up staying? Moved here as a spontaneous act? Well, any of those reasons and more place individuals in the locals category. These are people who live in the town, new or old. Some have jobs, others don't. They're the people who you pass by going to the store or to school, and because the town is considerably close-knit, you'll probably know their names and they'll know yours. Visitors These are the people renting out an apartment or a room somewhere and who have jobs that they can quit anytime. They can come and go or perhaps stay somewhere else more then they do in the town. They came across the town somehow and don't know if they should stay or leave. They're considered visitors, but it's more likely rather than not that the town knows them. They don't want to settle and might one day move on to bigger and better places. This is also where characters who are out-of-state or out-of-town for colleges go. Some don't usually commute (some do if they're willing to spend all that gas) and visit too often. However, the ones who go to University of New York or someplace else that is close by usually visit and stay every weekend. [/classy] |
